Amazing Grace, by Philosophy

Here's my all time favorite scent. I discovered this line when traveling in London many years ago without even knowing that it was famous. I found it again while living in the United States as it was still unknown in France. It is now available at the Sephora that is located in Paris on the Champs Elysées. The scent is just as its name, amazing. Its pure, fresh and clean. It smells like a soft bouquet, or can even remind of a soft shampoo. Its perfect for day time. I wish the scent would last longer tho.. It cost like 45 Euros for 60 ml. The line includes a body emulsion, body butter, hand lotion and a bath, shampoo and shower gel.

Monoi de Tahiti

I have always been in love with Monoi, its such a great, natural moisturizer for skin and hair. The good thing is that is smells divine too! It can be applied on hair before shampoos or before going at the beach, as it protects the skin and hair from the salted water. It can also be applied after showers or in bath. I always purchase a few bottles every summer, and this time I got a coconut scented one. The line here "Les cosmetiques" is sold exclusively at a store named Carrefour, which is located all over France. The bottle cost around 5 Euros for 100 ml

StriVectin-SD

I found a set of 3 StriVectin products at Sephora, which includes an intensive concentrate for stretch marks and wrinkles, a tightening face serum and an eye concentrate for wrinkles. I had heard so many good things about this brand that I had to try it out! Well, first of all, its somewhat an expensive line. I have been using the products on and off and I found the serum to be the best of the 3, its light in texture and tend to smooth fine lines, but nothing revolutionary. As for the concentrate for stretch marks and wrinkles it hasnt done anything special to my face. The eye concentrate is ok, but again, nothing special. Overall, the products arent that bad, but they might work better on a drier or older skin.

Sephora scented body scrub, shampoo, body butter, hand wash, perfume, in lemon meringue and a plastic bath tub

I went crazy on these little goodies! Sephora has tons of other scents and I sure smelled them all and literally loved that one. The other ones they have I could find similar smells at the drugstore, but that one is kinda unique. It truly smells like a lemon meringue pie. Its so yummy! If you buy for 25 euros/dollars of products they give you a bath tub to put the products in it. The only cons I found is that the lemon smell dissapear after a while and leaves more of a vanilla smell. The little perfume also doesn't have any lasting power. Now the body scrub, shampoo and hand wash are great products.

NYX round lipglosses in 22 Natural and 15 Baby Pink

Left to right: Natural; Baby Pink. These lipglosses are ok, I like Natural which truly looks natural, a muted pink-red color. Baby pink is a very light, kinda frosted pink, that can brighten and enhance any dark lipsticks. Both can also be worn alone, as they are pretty opaque. Like I said before, I hate their packaging because some of the product comes out when being closed and always need to be wiped off...

MAC mineralize (MSF) blush in Hand finish and Dainty ; and powder blush in Pink Swoon

From left to right: Hand finish; Dainty; Pink swoon. I love these blushes! Hand finish is a MSF blush from the Color Craft collection, a beautiful sheer pastel pink that I use has a highlighter, between and above my eyebrows, under and above my lips. Dainty is a beautiful peachy pink. Pink swoon is a bright but buildable pink.

NYX Round Lipgloss in Sorbet

I so liked the color on pictures but not so much on my lips. It's a mauve pink, but more on the mauve side. It got tons of shimmers and they are hard to remove. I dont mind the smell, I think it smells good actually, but it could bother some who are sensitive to smells. I just hate the packaging, like when I close the top, there's always some of the product that comes out and I have to wipe it off with tissues. Annoying! Well, these lipglosses are cheap, can't have everything! ;)

Euphytos liss milk

omg, this stuff smells amazing!! Its great to help in the straightening process, but only a tiny bit is needed as it could weight the hair down. What I mainly do is rub a little bit on my hands and softly put it on top of my hair and on the tips to add a little shine and smell delicious!

Isoplus spritz super hold hair spray

I found Isoplus hair spray in the US and brought a bunch back with me, the guy at the airport smiled and said, thats a lot of hair spray! lol. I love the way it holds my hair in place and gives shine to it. I also love the fact that it is a spritz and not a usual spray with small particles that goes straight in the lung!

Revlon hair spray finisheen

I like to spray some on my hair after I styled it straight. It gives lots of shine and softness to dry hair. Just need to be careful not to spray on too much as it could feel a little greasy. Other from that its a good product for dry and relaxed hair.

Sephora eyeliners: silver-grey jumbo ; beige-taupe jumbo ; white eyeliner

I like Sephora products, they are somewhat cheap and effective. I use the white eyeliner on my bottom water line and use the jumbos on my eyelids, alone or as a base.

MAC lipstick in Patisserie and Siss swatch

Patisserie on the right, Siss on the left

MAC lipstick in Patisserie and in Siss

Patisserie and Siss are some of my favorite lipsticks from Mac. The first one is a pink-red color with shimmers, and Siss is a very neutral beige-brown. I like to pair Siss with a pink lipgloss to create a nude lips, and Patisserie with lighter shades on my eyes. (Patisserie on the right and Siss on the left)

MAC dazzleglass in Moth to flame and plushglass in Big baby

At first I wanted to get Baby sparks but I decided to get Moth to flame to match my lipstick in Siss or to tone down some bright pink lipsticks. Its a beautiful sheer beige with lots of glitters. Big baby is a nice medium peach with pink and silver effect in it. Once again, the Mac glosses are very sticky and overpriced, IMO. I like lipglosses from cheaper brands better.

Yves Rocher Radiant skin scrub and cool moisture mask

These skincare products are just awesome. I got them for 6 bucks and they really make my skin feeling fresh and moisturized. The scrub has tiny bits of apricot and the mask has grape extract in it. If you can get them go for it!

Make Up For Ever Glossy full couleur Number 7

This gloss is expensive, it costs like 20 dollars but I loved the pink color and the mint scent. It is not sticky like the Mac lipglasses and gives your lips lots of shine. I don't really like gloss in a tube tho, but thats ok, it is pretty and do the job.

MAC Paint Pots in Soft ochre and Quite natural

I love these two! Soft ochre is the perfect eyeshadow base, it gets rid of any discoloration of the eyes. Quite natural is a beautiful cool toned brown that I use either with a bronzy eyeshadow or a darker brown, even black. I heard it was going to be discontinued but I havent had a hard time to find it.

Yves Rocher summer perfume

I like this fragrance from Yves Rocher. Im usually not found of their fragrances, but this one is really nice for the summer. It smells like fruits, mainly mango and papaya. Its really fresh and wearable in hot weather.

Nars Matte Lip Pencil in Belle De Jour

I love nude lips and this one is close to be perfect. It is really moisturizing, but matte and long lasting. The pencil is a great and unusual way to wear lipstick. Its nude color is on the beige - light brown side, and it doesnt really suit my complexion but I like to mix it with other lipglosses or lip pencils.
